Scaffold plank width is one input to a working-platform layout, not the platform width by itself. Add the widths of the actual deck units that fit between the scaffold supports, then account for hooks, joints, uprights, access openings and the system’s edge details. Plank length is a separate choice: it must match the designed support span and the end-bearing or hook arrangement. A wider plank is not automatically suitable for a longer bay or a higher intended load. Tianjin Easy Scaffolding’s internal steel-plank card lists widths from 210 to 320 mm and sheet thicknesses from 1.0 to 2.0 mm, but the available combinations and load data must be checked for the exact product.
